Cute Cyberspace Math Logic Video for Kids

I am so excited to have figured out how to add videos to my blog! My kids thought this video was cute. It’s a nice way to sneak in some math logic without actually doing math. We don’t have cable so Cyberchase is new to me. Here are some other fun math ideas to use with this video.
- Have the child write out the math problems used.
- Ask how they would solve it before seeing the answer (you can pause the video).
- Make a division problem out of it.
- What would the answer be if there were 3 icicles on each? or 2?
- What happens if the ice starts melting? (Ok this one is just for fun !)

Thanks for the video clip. I acutally have a question about the online classes listed on the sidebar. Do you give them or is it a service. What is the approprate age range? What other classes are coming up? and on and on it goes.

CyberChase is a great show, it is on PBS stations around here. Thanks for reminding us, my DD just said, “we haven’t watched Cyber chase in a long time.”
